These terms apply when you use the game Crazy Potato Farm (the "app") and its online services. The app is made by Hyounsik Lee, an individual developer ("we"). By using the app you agree to these terms. The app store you got it from has its own terms, which also apply.
1. Using the app
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to play the app for your own, non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse engineer or modify the app, except where the law allows it. The open-source dedicated server is licensed separately under Apache 2.0 (see section 7).
2. Your account
- Single farms need no account. Multi farms need you to sign in with Apple or Google.
- Keep your sign-in safe; you are responsible for what happens on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app's settings, as described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Playing fair and being kind
When you play with others, you agree not to:
- cheat, use bots, exploit bugs on purpose, or change the app or its traffic;
- harass, threaten or insult other players, or send hateful, sexual or illegal content;
- use nicknames or farm names that are offensive or pretend to be someone else;
- try to break into, overload or disrupt our services or other players' devices.
You can block and report players in the app. We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
4. Your content
You keep your rights to the names and messages you create. You let us store and show them inside the game as needed to run it (for example, showing your farm's name to friends you invite).
5. In-game items
Potatoes, seeds, gear and other in-game items are part of the game and have no money value. They cannot be sold or exchanged for money, and they may change as the game is balanced.
6. A game in development
The game is still being made. Features, balance and saves may change, and an online service may be paused or end. We will try to give notice of big changes in the app or on our changelog. Single-farm saves stay on your device.
7. Dedicated servers
Anyone may run the dedicated server under the Apache 2.0 licence. Servers run by others are not operated by us; their operators are responsible for them, including their rules and the data they receive. The world on a dedicated server is separate from your own farms.
8. No warranty
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of in-game items or saves. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or on this site before it takes effect. If you keep playing after that, you accept the new terms.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Consumer protection rules of the country you live in still apply where they must.
